This booklet highlights several artefacts that had belonged to the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. Through these treasures, which were passed down from one generation to the next, Muslims become aware that wasîlah (an instrumentality) can be employed in the performance of tabarruk.

Tabarruk or the seeking of blessings with the Prophet and his âthâr is a praiseworthy act resented only by certain people.

The word tabarruk comes from the word "barakah", which means increase, blessing and overflowing goodness. Tabarruk implies being hopeful that something will be the cause of obtaining increased goodness. This is what is frequently termed as "obtaining barakah".

This book is very helpful in stirring our love for the prophetic vestiges of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. Such an act is far from worthless, it is in fact a sunnah performed by the Companions of the Prophet and the earlier Muslims. This is detailed in this book in the form of quotes from ahâdîth and from the opinions of the scholars.
